About me
Born on March 12, 1964 in the village. Andreyashevka, Romensky district, Sumy region (Ukraine).
1982 - entered the 1st year of the Faculty of Biology at Kyiv State University. T.G. Shevchenko.
After completing his second year, he was drafted into the USSR Armed Forces for military service. He served in Estonia in the training unit of the engineering troops.
After demobilization, he returned to the 3rd year of the Faculty of Biology of KSU named after. T.G. Shevchenko, graduated in 1989 with a degree in zoology and botany; teacher of biology and chemistry" with a specialization in "vertebrate zoologist".
While studying at the university, he took an active part in the work of the student nature conservation team “Lenin Watch” at Kyiv State University. Headed the “Combating Poaching” sector. Actively participated in the Ukrainian and Union United Nature Conservation Team (UNCT) Movement. He was elected coordinator of the BsB of the Ukrainian Nature Conservation Team (NCT) Movement and one of three coordinators for the BsB of the NCT Movement of the Soviet Union.
1989 - worked in the Klavdievsky OPSS forestry enterprise (Kiev region, Ukraine) in two positions at once: “hunting engineer” and “forest conservation and protection engineer.” Completed advanced training courses at the level of “senior game warden” and “senior engineer for forest protection and conservation.”
1991 - by way of transfer, he moved to work at the Komarovskoye State Hunting Estate in the Kyiv region as the head of a production hunting area.
1993 - 1999 - worked as director in the state natural biosphere reserve "Daursky" (Chita region, Russia).
1999 – 2001 - Director of the Caucasus State Natural Biosphere Reserve.
2001 - 2002 – senior researcher at the Caucasus State Natural Biosphere Reserve.
2002 – senior lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Conservation Management, Maikop State Technological University (MSTU).
2003 - 2004 – senior researcher at the research sector of the same university and, part-time, teacher of environmental disciplines.
2004 - Laureate of the honorary title “Green Man of the Year” 2004
From April 2004 to September 2007 – senior lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Conservation Management, Maikop State Technological University.
2006 - present – director of the private institution “Institute of Regional Biological Research” (Maykop).
2006-2010 – co-chairman of the Council of the International Public Organization “International Social-Ecological Union”.
2007 - Laureate of the honorary title “Green Man of the Year” 2007
2007 - 2008 – chief engineer of the Federal State Institution National Park "Elbrus".
2008 - present – Chairman of the Council of the Adyghe Republican Branch of the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation (ARSNC).

2014 - awarded the Breastplate of Honor of the Central Committee of the All-Russian Public Organization "For the protection of nature in Russia", as well as the departmental award of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia - the Breastplate "For merits in nature conservation."
2016 – 2021 - Chairman of the Council of the Adyghe Republican Branch of the Political Party “Russian Environmental Party “Greens”.
2016 - awarded an Honorary Diploma of the Council on Sustainable Development of Russia, the Board of the Russian Ecological Union, the Rosecopress Association and the Medal “For Nature Conservation of Russia”, as well as the Commemorative Medal of the Russian Geographical Society named after. Academician I.P. Borodin "For merits in the development of nature reserves in Russia"
2020 - for a more in-depth study of Heritage conservation, together with my student Yuri Vorovsky, the non-profit organization “Private Institution “Heritage Institute” was created.
Completed correspondence postgraduate studies at MSTU with a specialization in “Biological Resources”. I have 19 scientific publications and more than 200 popular science and journalistic articles.
During the period of work in the Daursky State Nature Reserve, he led projects on the environmental justification and preparation of documentation for assigning the status of a biosphere reserve to the reserve, wetlands of international importance mainly as habitats for waterfowl (Ramsar sites), international Russian-Mongolian- Chinese specially protected area "Dauria", and also participated in a project on the environmental feasibility study of the Alkhanay National Park (Aginsky Buryat Autonomous Okrug). Participated in the development of the Law of the Chita Region “On Specially Protected Natural Areas” and the Red Book of the Chita Region.
During the period of work in the Caucasus State Natural Biosphere Reserve, he led 4 GEF projects. Including the development of a management plan for the Caucasian Nature Reserve. Participated in the inventory of flora and fauna of the Ritsinsky National Relict Park (Republic of Abkhazia).
During the period of work at Maikop State Technological University, he developed and implemented training programs for special courses: “Reserves and national parks of the world”, “Ecological tourism: introduction to the specialty”, “Rare and endangered species”, “Fundamentals of hunting management”, “Organization and functioning of hunting farms." Participated in a project on the environmental feasibility study and design of 12 natural monuments in the Republic of Adygea. He was the chairman of the state environmental assessment commission of the Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Krasnodar Territory, which evaluates materials for hunting users to obtain licenses for the right to conduct hunting activities. Currently, he is the Chairman of the State Environmental Expertise Commission of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Adygea on the same issues. Organized and conducted a number of public environmental assessments, incl. for the project of a waste processing plant in Maykop. Completed several individual and collective projects under grants from domestic and foreign foundations.
During the period of work in the Elbrus National Park, he prepared a number of conclusions on projects for the development of economic and recreational activities on the territory of the national park (on the construction of cascades of mini-hydroelectric power stations, on the scheme of territorial planning for the development of settlements on the territory of the national park, etc.).
Participated in the development of a legal and environmental-economic feasibility study for the project to create the Mezmaysky Natural Park on the territory of the Apsheronsky district of the Krasnodar Territory.
As part of the activities of the Institute of Regional Biological Research, I carry out contractual work on the on-farm development of territories of game users, environmental, economic and legal justification for the creation of protected areas of regional significance, and provide consulting services on environmental management issues.
I have extensive judicial practice in arbitration courts, courts of general jurisdiction and magistrates' courts in civil and criminal cases.
I am an expert on the organization, management and legal support of the activities of specially protected natural areas, the organization and functioning of hunting farms, legal support for the conservation and use of forests and green spaces in populated areas, the protection of rare and endangered species, and the development of nature tourism.
